Flavia is an accomplished interior architect and creative director with over 25 years of experience, combining technical precision with artistic vision. Born in Britain with Swiss roots, she now lives in the rural outskirts of Zurich with her family. Her Swiss efficiency is complemented by her British sense of humor. Fluent in both German and English, Flavia has also managed projects in Italian, showcasing her versatility across languages and cultures.

Her academic journey is rooted in a strong foundation in architecture, with studies at ETH Zurich followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from Istituto Europeo di Design Milano, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. In 2021, she earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Regenerative Materials from ETH Zurich and expanded her knowledge of ecological design through the Gaia Education program in partnership with UNESCO.

For over a decade, Flavia served as an executive board member at the renowned interior design practice Atelier Zürich, overseeing a wide range of residential and hospitality projects, including her role as Director of Concept & Design for Swissôtel. She was involved in every stage, from initial concept development and planning to construction management. She is also the co-founder of Off Grid Hideaways, an online booking platform for remote and stylish holiday homes, where she served as creative director until 2020.

Above all, Flavia is passionate about the connection between design, nature, and well-being. She finds her greatest joy in moments off the grid, drawing inspiration from the simplicity and essentiality of life.
